New Delhi. After four weeks of intense action, the Women’s Premier League 2026 has reached its final stage. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will face off in the title clash in Vadodara on Thursday, February 5. Led by Jemimah Rodrigues, Delhi Capitals will look to make history at the BCA Stadium and win their first trophy, having finished as runners-up in all three seasons so far.
After getting their campaign back on track with a much-needed win against UP Warriors, Jemimah and her team also defeated Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator on Tuesday (February 3). They will now face a formidable RCB, which won six of its eight league matches to advance to the playoffs and secure a spot in the final.
Smriti Mandhana’s team held Delhi Capitals to a 1-1 record in the first round, but they also have fond memories of defeating Delhi in the same match in 2024. In the title match played in Delhi, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by eight wickets.

Vadodara Pitch Report
Despite the tournament reaching its final stages, the pitch at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara showed no signs of slowing down in the eliminator between the Gujarat Giants and the Delhi Capitals. Batting first, the Giants scored over 160 runs, which the Capitals achieved in just 16 overs. A good batting pitch can be expected for the final as well.

Although Delhi Capitals have made a strong comeback in their campaign, Royal Challengers Bangalore look the stronger of the two teams. RCB has performed brilliantly throughout the tournament, winning six of their eight matches and displaying consistent all-around performance in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
